It’s all of those things that we love to remember
Its carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls

That’s it exactly, I have fond memories of being a child and waking up super early and my sisters and I would fall back asleep under the tree waiting for our parents to wake. Then as we grew older I became very good at carefully opening our presents when our parents weren’t around and seeing what they were then re-wrapping them exactly the way they were! .. This pose from Something New reminds me of that and puts a smile on my face. As kids we didn’t get everything we wanted but when I think back on things thats not what I remember really anyways, I remember the feelings and it makes my heart smile.
